Haitian DJON DJON for Black Rice

Quality was great but it was a small bag for the money. Of course they are expensive in Haiti which is the reason I switched to the Maggi cubes! But the Maggi cubes have changed and I do not like brown rice, I want BLACK rice so I decided to buy some Djon Djon mushrooms. My rice turned out pale black but I cooked three cups of rice instead of two. Next time I will add a couple of Maggi Cubes maybe with the mushrooms to get black rice? Would definitely buy again when I’m craving authentic Diri Djon Djon!

Mushrooms arrived less than a week after ordering. I haven't made my rice with it yet, waiting on my Maggi cubes from another seller. But the quality of the mushrooms looks like the quality I usually get when I go to New York.

The items are very fine in the bag. Not sure if that is what it's supposed to be like . I'll do some more research. I haven't used it yet. So I cannot speak to the taste. For now I rate based on shipping packaging.
